Hello! My name is Gena and I am the owner and designer at Salty Reign Jewelry. Wife and mommy to 4. I am originally from Boca Raton Fl and even when moving to Ga in the late 90's I never left the beach behind. It is and always will be “home”.
I am self taught in this business but have taken some classes over the years. I started jewelry making with a friend named Ashley in 2011. We started beading and giving the necklaces out as Christmas gifts at our 9-5 job, our co-workers kept wanting more, then soon they were buying them to give out as gifts etc... we soon fell so in love with the process we took a class on soldering which is where I saw metal stamps for the first time, needless to say I never looked back from there! It was over for me, I could put MY children's names on a necklace... a ring?! Oh ya, it was on. I bought my first set and sat for hours and hours a day perfecting it, figuring it out, getting the letters as straight as I could. Soon after I was cutting out my own discs, making the actual necklaces from scratch with chain and clasps, designing new items...my little mind and fingers just couldn't stop with ideas and a new found craving to keep going.I work out my home studio in Dacula Ga, my fiance helps cut and clean, my children are the models (when I can get them to - they are all teens now) and I couldn't be happier. My only goal now is to make you as happy with your piece as I am when hand crafting it.
The company name Salty Reign comes from the mist of the wave hitting your face, the taste of the salt water, the feel of the sand in your toes - "Salty" then the sound of the waves crashing and knowing that she may be so beautiful but still full of power, like a tough Queen - "Reign"
I LOVE TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL THINGS
THAT MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY.
When you purchase a piece from Salty Reign, you can know that you’re getting quality handcrafted jewelry that’s made by a person who really care.
Thanks to my amazing customers, I've got a busy little studio filled with happiness and love while making beautiful jewelry. All of my pieces are made by hand in my home shop, one at a time. I take a lot of pride in handcrafting our work with love, so I can pass a special piece of jewelry along to you.
